Borland Bash

Last night was the annual JavaOne Borland bash. For the past five years this software company throws a huge party at a local bar. This year was no exception we even managed to snag an extra ticket for Shannon. There was plenty of food and free drinks all night as well as a pretty good band to entertain us.

The CEO of Borland kicked of the evening and even played with the band on stage for a bit. It was hilarious to see the CEO of a company jamming on stage. Way to go Borland CEO!!!

Once the formalities were over the rest of the night became one big party. We were only out until midnight but definitely drank enough for the night by that point. Even before the Borland bash started we also attended several Sun parties that were going on as well. Needless to say there was plenty of free food and drink to go around.

Today I'm back at the conference attending more sessions trying to absorb as much as I can. Right now I am listening about how to avoid web service security attacks.
